About Resiliensia Institute Indonesia

Resiliensia Institute Indonesia (RRI) is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to strengthening the resilience and protection of vulnerable populations affected by forced migration, including refugees, survivors of human trafficking, and communities displaced by disasters.

RRI adopts a comprehensive and evidence-based approach that integrates community-based programming, psychosocial support, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and policy advocacy. Beyond responding to humanitarian needs, we place strong emphasis on prevention efforts — particularly the prevention of human trafficking and unsafe migration through awareness-raising, capacity-building, and community protection mechanisms. In the context of disasters, RRI works to strengthen preparedness, risk awareness, and community understanding before crises occur, contributing to long-term resilience and reduced displacement risks.

Through applied research, strategic partnerships, and policy engagement, RRI seeks to inform and influence protection frameworks at local and national levels. By bridging field-based interventions with research and advocacy, RRI promotes sustainable, rights-based, and locally grounded solutions for communities at risk across Indonesia.

A Message from Our Founder

For more than a decade, I have worked closely with refugees, displaced communities, and vulnerable groups in Indonesia. Through these experiences, I witnessed both the challenges they face and the incredible strength they carry. This inspired me to establish Resiliensia Institute Indonesia — a platform dedicated to protecting dignity, empowering resilience, and creating sustainable solutions for those at risk of forced migration.
